Senior IT Administrator (f/m)

Together with the admin team you will take responsibility for operations and support of IT infrastructure. You will help and support our team identifying and resolving operational problems with your excellent knowledge of UNIX and Windows systems and databases.

The position is located in Vienna and we would expect you to move to Vienna.
Your responsibilities:

Infrastructure (Linux, VMware, Windows, networks, security)
o Ongoing optimization of IT operations (infrastructure and processes)
o Administrating infrastructure and IP networks
o Creating/planning of concepts for high availability and distributed IT systems
o Administration of firewalls (CISCO)

Databases, applications
o Administrating data bases and applications (tomcat, DB2, MySQL)
o Creating/planning of concepts for high availability and distributed IT systems
o Analysis and tracking of reported problems (up to database-level)
o Documentation of cases for the development
o Optimization of database access and performance

Your skills:
IT qualification (HTL, technical university or similar education)
At least 3 years professional experience in administration of Operation Systems Linux and/or Windows and IP networks (all-rounder level)
Experience in design, implementation and operations of high available IT systems
Hands on experience in MySQL and/or DB2
Experience with troubleshooting and documentation of problem cases
SQL experience and understanding in data structure and design
Profound communication skills appropriate for international top range clients
Assertive, professional and determined appearance
Strong problem solving competence
High engagement, independently working and good team player
Fluent English in speaking and writing, Russia or German would be an advantage

The salary for this position is based on the Austrian „Kollektivvertrag” for IT (annual gross salary from € 43.106) and will be determined according to the level of individual qualification and professional experience.
